The iPhone 11 was announced earlier this year, and now it’s out. Both the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro appear to have a powerful year on top. From its improved camera capabilities to new models for making photo effects from your iPhone, it’s a welcome addition.

The iPhone 11 is incredibly Apple but not everyone loves it, however, here are some of the best features of the phone.

Increased performance

In terms of performance, the iPhone 11 is insanely fast. Thanks to the new A13 chipsets it’s said to offer 55% more power compared to the iPhone 9s. This will be great for heavy gaming, and a massive leap on the iPhone 8, although to be honest, the iPhone 8 was far more powerful than the iPhone 11. This can all be attributed to the original A14 chip, which was lacking in some performance areas. The iPhone 11 has a similar setup, which isn’t surprising as it’s the same as the iPhone XR and MacOS. In terms of performance, the phone’s faster chips can make normal tasks jump noticeably quicker than past versions.

Faster internet

The iPhone 11’s internet speeds are really impressive. That’s a massive leap on the iPhone 8s, but still a bit slower than those on other phones, but that’s due to the older A14 chip. The iPhone 11’s chip isn’t as advanced as the A12X bionic chip you find in the iPad 12 series. That’s why the phone doesn’t work as well as Apple’s laptops. The phone supports 5G, but it’s still less than previous iPhones.

Improved battery life

The iPhone 11 can last over 24 hours on a single charge. That’s no small feat, and of course, you’ll get that with a fast charger. You can expect to see just around 24 hours of life with the older A14 chip. Obviously, it’s not perfect and as you’ll quickly find out, the A13 chip offers a massive jump in power and more juice than the old chip, but still, 24 hours is impressive.

Portable across networks

There’s some variability with how different networks treat the iPhone 11. While the big networks charge you the same amount for every single line, from the smaller networks you might still find that you can save money by combining mobile data with regular SIM. Averaging about €70 a month, that’s not bad at all and helps save money.

Faster photos
