Medium is an excellent website for anyone who likes to express their opinion. You can choose how you want to share your opinion, how, when, and where you will share that opinion.
The best way to start is to be as concise as possible. I’m not a writer, so I’ll just blog about the things I am extremely good at, with lots of images, statistics, graphs, dashboards, and citations.
Once you feel comfortable with writing a post that is clear, well-written, descriptive, concise, and has visuals, there are a few other ways to become a writer — and to spread that word.
You can use any blogging platform, mainly being Medium. Most of my clients and friends use Medium, so there’s no harm in getting in.
You can also post your own articles, like a short blog post, a few links to different social networks, some reading experience, and maybe, enjoy social media like Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube. If you have the time, you can take a look at my profile on Medium, so if you’re not sure about me as a writer or you have a doubt about my social media presence.
If you don’t know where to start and don’t know how to handle the internet, perhaps you should hire someone to help you. You don’t have to be that talented to be a writer, but to help you as a writer you will need to:
Write well
Have a good online presence
Get lots of help
Overcome fears
Will make a difference in your world
You will probably always be good at something, and you have a boss who pays you fairly. If you don’t have good connections and don’t earn enough money, that makes everything a little harder. You’ll need to put some work in. That means to:
Write stories
Update your social media profiles
Pick the most appropriate blog to write
Ensure your visual identity and theme are up to scratch
Keep your audience excited and engaged
Keep their attention
Read success stories and articles
Ask for advice for your areas of expertise and experience
Keep your income up
It’s good to know who you are, but there’s a lot to learn. That’s why you should consult an experienced and highly-comprehensive freelance blogger.
Read as much as you can. Go online and look up the most successful people in your field. It’s easy to hit a roadblock and stop writing. Get on your toes, get your readers to keep their attention, and finish your projects.
You should never give your readers any reason to change their minds. Instead, you should improve your storytelling by:
Telling your story from another angle
Improving the efficiency of your message
Practical examples that tie your words with action
Introducing other writers into your story
Using stories as an integral part of your writing and screenplays
Add emojis and coffee symbols
Give your reader more than you give your story
This is not a long list of tips, because you have to go through it. Just accept it, learn it, make an improvement in it if you need to, post it, and see who likes your writing.
